Trevis Smith, C.A.T.C., is the Founder and Case Management Coordinator of the Holistic Integration Team. He has worked variously as a detox counselor, case manager and sober companion since entering the field of addiction treatment in 2006. Trevis is particularly adept at coordinating care for both addiction and co- occurring disorders. Trevis has a reputation for being one of the regions premier pioneers in private treatment founding what is now considered one of the most prominent addiction treatment programs in the United States.
Often cited by clients and families alike to be one of the most inspiring individuals on the team, Trevis brings an incredible personal story of triumph over adversity which he draws upon to help clients realize that no situation is insurmountable. His strength lies in his broad proficiencies in assisting clients to set objectives which allow them to advance towards healthy living, recovery, and healing. Family members frequently convey that his motivational and caring approach, along with the client’s hard work, accomplishes in a short time what their loved one has sought to achieve for years.
Jessica is a graduate of Pierce College Woodland Hills majoring in Addiction Studies and is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor II (CATC II). Jessica has several years of experience working with a diverse cross-section of populations and is currently the Program Director for HIT Los Angeles. She has received extensive clinical training in co-occurring disorders, family systems, case management, as well as assisting clients with life skills and re-integration into independent living. Her theoretical approach is strength based and believes change first occurs with a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients thus allowing her to help them develop passion and joy in their recovery. Coming from an accomplished athletic background (both personal accomplishments as a competitive athlete and as a gymnastics and diving coach), Jessica believes teamwork and a strong support system are needed to achieve desired results while also incorporating physical wellbeing as integral part of a recovery program. Jessica is a driven and dedicated clinician motivated by her passion (and lived experience) to help those struggling with addiction achieve healing and transformation.
Dr. Abe Malkin is a native of Southern California, growing up in Los Angeles. He received his combined MD/MBA degree from a joint program at Tufts University School of Medicine and Brandies University Heller School of Business. He then completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. Dr. Malkin is board certified in Family Medicine and an active member of the American Board of Family Medicine. He currently practices Concierge Medicine in Los Angeles, focusing on medical house calls for primary and urgent medical services. He is also the Founder and Medical Director of Drip Hydration, a mobile IV Hydration and Wellness company. Dr. Malkin also serves as the Medical Director for Axiom Health, a Physical Medicine practice which offers integrative medicine services.
Michelle is a licensed clinician and certified addiction treatment counselor. She utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients understand the connection between addiction and other underlying mental health issues that may be contributing to their substance use. Michelle provides a safe and supportive environment for clients to gain insight and work through the circumstances that have brought them to treatment. Her goal is to help clients persevere, despite the detrimental effects of addiction and personal struggles, guiding them towards a life of happiness, health, and satisfaction in sobriety.
As a born and bred New Yorker, Michelle’s clients tend to appreciate the honesty and “tell it like it is” mentality she adheres to. In addition to her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, Michelle is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology.
Justin is a certified addiction specialist with 5 years of experience. He studied drug and alcohol counseling at West LA College, and went on to persue his passion for helping others. Specializing in companion and case management work, Justin gives every client his undivided attention and sees every case through to the end.
